3/11/12 Congratulations to TWST Gold group swimmer Megan Reutzel. She will be swimming for and attending the U. S Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. She will be a member of their freshman class in the fall. As a College Park High School graduate, Megan will bring her skill and background in middle distance freestyle and backstroke to the Naval Academy program. Good luck to the newest Midshipman!
3/11/12 Congratulations to TWST National group swimmer James Cullingford. He has commited to attend and swim for the U.S. Naval Academy in the fall. As an incoming freshman in the fall, James will bring his race experience in the backstroke and sprint freestyle events to Annapolis. He graduates from Conroe High School in the Spring of 2012, and is looking forward to this next step in his swimming career, his education and his future. Good luck to the new Midshipman!
3/5/11 Congratulations to TWST Gold group swimmer Hillary Knaebel. She has committed to swim for the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado beginning in the fall of 2012. Hillary is a Sectional swimmer for TWST and her favorite event is the 500 FR. She will graduate from The Woodlands High School this spring and in going to major in engineering next year. Congratulations to the newest member of the Orediggers swim team!
11/17/11 Congratulations to TWST National group swimmer Meaghan Wisenbaker. She has signed to swim at Rice University in Houston, TX beginning in the fall of 2012. Meaghan graduates from the John Cooper School in the spring of 2012. Her focus events are the 100 BK, 100 BR and 100 FL. She is interested in pursuing a medical degree while at Rice. Congratulations to the newest Owl!
11/15/11 Congratulations to TWST National group swimmer Ediz Yildirimer. Ediz has committed to the University of Georgia in Athens, GA as part of the freshman class of 2012. Ediz will graduate from the John Cooper School in the spring of 2012. As the Turkish Junior National Champion and a member of the Turkish Olympic Team, he will bring his strengths as a distance freestyler to the Georgia program. Good luck to the newest Bulldog!
11/7/11 Congratulations to TWST National swimmer Catherine Rash. She plans to swim for Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas in the fall of 2012. While she is unsure of her major, the senior from The Woodlands High School will bring her strengths in butterfly to the TCU team. Catherine also considered LSU, Rice and Arkansas. Congratulations to the newest Horned Frog!!
11/3/11 Congratulations to Gray Umbach,the most recent TWST National swimmer to commit to college. Gray Umbach will be swimming for Stanford University in Palo Alto, California as a member of their freshman class next year. Gray is a 2012 graduate of College Park High School and was named as the #1 high school swim recruit by several swimming websites. He plans to major in an engineering field and brings his multi-event versitility to the Cardinal team with his strengths in backstroke, butterfly and individual medley. Good luck to the newest member of the Stanford Red!
10/26/11 Congratulations to Jonathan DeBaugh - the TWST National group swimmer just gave his verbal commitment to the U. S Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Jonathan will be a member of their freshman class in the fall, majoring in Engineering/Computer Sciences. As a Conroe High School graduate, Jonathan will bring his strong butterfly background as well as experience racing the 200/400 FR to the Naval Academy program. Good luck to the new Midshipman!
10/25/11 Congratulations to TWST National group swimmer Avery Bub. Today he gave a verbal committment to swim at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He will be a freshman in the fall of 2012. While he's unsure of his major, the Woodlands High School graduate is certain to be an asset to their program with his strengths in the breaststroke and the individual medley. Avery also considered SMU and Penn. Good luck and best wishes to the newest Big Red Bear!
10/17/11 Congratulations to TWST swimmer Knox Hitt. The National group swimmer has chosen Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and he will major in sports management as he continues his student/swimmer journey in the fall of 2012. Knox is a graduating senior from The Woodlands High School and hopes to help take Xavier to an Atlantic-10 Championship with his strength as a butterflier, and a sprinter with strong relay performances.
